Abstract: We consider a Hamilton-Jacobi formulation of quantum theory, which replaces the wave-function description with a configuration-space density and associated equations of motion. To reproduce quantum behavior exactly, a particular ad-hoc quantization condition has to be assumed. Our work investigates the implications of relaxing this condition, leading to a slightly generalized framework that may or may not differ empirically from the standard formulation. Our findings will impact the viability of such formulations. Investigation involves simulation of systems under these equations of motion, along with trajectory tracking using a 4th order Runge Kutta method.
